House Groups
In 2012, the House System was established at Brooklyn School.
Every child is placed in a house team and family members are grouped together. Tamariki will stay in their house group for the duration of their time at Brooklyn School.
Students LOVE interacting with their peers from all over the school and during the year house events are organised, with the House Cup up for grabs! This is presented to the winning house at the end of the year.
We have four houses -
Barrett, Dorset, Nicholson and Sinclair
These names are local Wellington/ Te Whanganui a Tara landmarks/areas.
House t-shirts can be purchased from the school office at a cost of $25 each. These come in sizes 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14.
Tamariki are encouraged to wear their house t-shirts at school events -
eg School Athletics day
