Welcome
Nau mai au Te Kura au Turangarere.
Welcome to Brooklyn School.

We are an urban full primary school (Year 0-8) situated up on the hill in the heart of Wellington.
We are proud to be able to share our wonderful school with you.

Alert Level
2

Kia ora koutou

You will be aware of the Cabinet decision, announced on Saturday evening, moving the Auckland region to COVID-19 Alert Level 3 and the rest of the country to Alert Level 2 for at least the next seven days.

At Alert Level 2, COVID-19 is contained and it is safe for students and staff to attend school as there are appropriate health and safety measures in place, including for students and staff vulnerable to severe illness.

In summary:
  • School will operate as normal this week, with COVID-19 Alert Level 2 health and safety measures in place.
  • Please bring a drink bottle as under Alert Level 2 we block off the water fountains.
  • Drivers and all students aged 12 and over are required to wear face coverings on public transport (as are the majority of New Zealanders). Drivers and students on all other school buses do not have to wear a face covering if you do not want to. This includes buses or vans chartered or used by schools to carry children, students and staff where everyone knows each other.
We will continue to keep you informed throughout the week, especially if there are changes to the national or regional situation.
Ngā mihi
