PALs (Physical Activity Leaders)

This is a new programme which has been implemented in our school this year. Year 6, 7 and 8 children have the opportunity to be a PAL during our school lunchtimes.

The PAL Team will:

  • Operate a lunchtime physical activity programme.
  • Show responsibility as a team member.
  • Plan physical activity lessons in advance.

This programme primarily aims to keep children active during our lunchtimes. It also encourages positive play and building new relationships with others.  The PAL team have completed a training course which has given them the skills to design, plan and run their own physical activity sessions.
